Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SupportZen collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or use our apps and tools (collectively, the “Services”).

We aim to collect as little data as possible, keep scopes clear, and only access what’s needed to do the job.

1. Who we are

SupportZen provides small, focused tools for support teams, including Zendesk® apps and WordPress plugins. References to “SupportZen,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to the SupportZen brand and its operators.

2. What information we collect

We collect limited information depending on how you interact with the Services:

  • Website usage data: We may collect basic analytics (for example: page views, referring pages, and approximate region) to understand how the site is used and improve content.
  • Contact information: If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
  • App operational data: Our apps may access data in your third-party platform (e.g., Zendesk®) only as needed to perform the feature you initiated.

3. What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not run advertising trackers inside our Zendesk® apps.
  • We do not access your data “in the background” without an in-app action or workflow requiring it.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Operate and maintain the Services
  • Provide support and respond to inquiries
  • Improve product quality, stability, and usability
  • Prevent abuse or misuse of the Services

5. Zendesk® and other third-party platforms

SupportZen apps run within and interact with third-party platforms (like Zendesk®). Any data accessed through those platforms is governed by your organization’s configuration, permissions, and the platform’s own policies.

SupportZen is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Zendesk, Inc. unless explicitly stated.

6. Data storage

Unless explicitly stated for a specific product, SupportZen tools are designed to minimize data retention. Many app actions occur in real time via the platform’s APIs and do not require storing your ticket or user data on our servers.

If a product uses any additional storage (for example, to save preferences), it will be limited to what is necessary and described in that product’s documentation or in-app settings.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

  • You can stop using the Services at any time.
  • You can uninstall Zendesk® apps or remove permissions through your platform admin settings.
  • You can contact us to request deletion of any support correspondence you’ve sent us, where applicable.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
